  1. Sterilize utensils and spoons.
  2. Blend creams, buttermilk and salt thoroughly in sterilized equipment.
  3. Cover and let stand at room temperature until it thickens.
  4. The length of time depends upon the temperature and consistency of the cream you use.
  5. Chill for future use and keep covered.
