Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients and shortening into a bowl. Pour in the milk and mix thoroughly. Pour the batter into a muffin pan or cast iron skillet.
  3. Bake for 14-16 minutes or until the top turn a light brown.
