Banana Bread

6 bananas (ripe ones work better)
2 T. lemon juice
½ c margarine (or butter)
2 c. sugar
6 T. sour milk (5 T milk and 1 T lemon juice or vinegar)
4 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
Mash 6 medium bananas with fork and add 2 T. lemon juice. Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs, and beat.  Add bananas and lemon juice.  Then add dry ingredients, alternating with milk.  Bake in 2 loaf pans greased and floured at 350° for 1 hour.
